At Churchdown Village Junior School, we are looking to grow our vibrant staff team. We can offer you a warm, friendly working environment, highly supportive senior leadership and pastoral/ pupil care team, committed teaching and support staff and a wonderful group of children. The role is to support a bright and engaging Year 4 child with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (without learning disability). We are looking for staff with experience and a proven track record of supporting children with mental wellness needs; additional qualifications (such as being a qualified ELSA) would also be valuable.
We are willing to consider one person to undertake this role, or a job share – we are happy to discuss this further at a school visit or interview.
The role is full-time school hours (8.45 to 3.20 each day), with the possibility of lunchtime cover too. Please note that this is a fixed term contract until 31st August initially, but likely to continue in September.
