School Partnerships
At CVJS, we welcome the opportunity to work with children and adults from other schools and settings in a range of activities, initiatives and events.
Our closest geographical partnership is that with Churchdown Village Infant School. As well as sharing the same pedestrian access point, Mr Bacon (head at CVJS) and the Senior Leadership Team at CVIS work together to ensure that as many of our policies are matched, to enable cross-phase working and a primary experience for all of our pupils and families.

We are a member of the Tewkesbury District Partnership - a group of 37 primary schools who work together on staff training, pupil events and other key learning activities. Mr Bacon, our headteacher, has been the Chair of the Tewkesbury District Partnership.
More recently, we have been working closely with colleagues within the other Churchdown schools to develop teaching policy, work moderation and assessments.
