CVJS Summer Holiday Club 2026

 

This summer, we will be holding our first ever CVJS Summer Holiday Club.

 

Key Information

  • The Summer Holiday Club will run for the middle 4 weeks of the 2026 summer holidays:

            -  Summer week 2:   w/c Monday 27th July

            -  Summer Week 3:   w/c Monday 3rd August

            -  Summer Week 4:   w/c Monday 10th August

            -  Summer Week 5:   w/c Monday 17th August

  • The club will be open each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Standard hours are 9.00am to 4.00pm with the option of an early drop off (8.30am) and a late pick up (5.00pm)
  • The club will be open to all children currently attending Churchdown Village Junior School, plus siblings currently in Year 2 at CVIS (those who will be joining the school in Y3 in September 2026)
  • The club has a limit of 40 places each day
  • The club will be operated by members of staff employed by CVJS 

 

How to book a place

  • To request a place for your child(ren), please click on the link below and complete the Booking Form
  • Bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis. Once we hit the maximum number of places available each day, then bookings will close for that day
  • We will contact you in writing to confirm your booking by Friday 15th May
  • Confirmation of a place will be sent home with an invoice. All invoices must be paid by Friday 26th June
  • We will accept child care vouchers as payment for the camp, as well as bank transfers

What to bring / What not to bring

  • Children will need to bring a well-stocked lunchbox and snacks for the day, a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing and sun cream and a hat for sunny days
  • There will be a range of activities on offer each day (sport, art, craft, drama, cookery, etc), so please send your child(ren) in clothes that will suit a range of active indoor and outdoor sessions
  • We will be a phone-free summer club, so no phones or electronic devices will be allowed
